Couples Counseling

Couples counseling involves both you and your partner meeting with a therapist to talk about your relationship.

  • Couples often seek counseling because of their difficulty understanding each other, communication problems, unhelpful behavioral patterns, unresolved disputes, recurring arguments, and many other things that contribute to feeling as if the relationship has changed for the worse.

  • No single person within the relationship is viewed as the problem. You can expect a safe space for you to explore your relationship as a system. With couples counseling you can learn more about your partner, practice coping skills for unhelpful situations, develop techniques for joint problem-solving, and improve the quality of your relationship.

  • When you are ready to explore how couples counseling can help, call or email Waymark Psychology to schedule a brief free-of-cost consultation in person or over the phone.
